Famous Pastors and Prophets in Malawi

Hello everyone, we have a list of famous pastors and prophets in Malawi. To be perfectly honest though, you might only see a few prophets at the beginning until we add more, but the main focus of this page will be those who are deemed preachers of their respective Churches. I also have to remind you that we did NOT order these preachers in any way, we just listed them in the order they came to us when we were researching. There are a number of pastors in Malawi some of which have their own churches across the country. Below is a list of some of the most well-known preachers.

Pastor Esau Banda

Pastor Esau Banda is presently overseer and Senior Pastor of Pentecost International Christian Centre, Lilongwe and other branches.
The Lord spoke clearly to Pastor Banda that the Pentecost International Christian Centre is a mighty river of revival that will spread to the four corners of the earth. The Lord gave him Genesis 2:10, which declares: “And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads” (KJV).

Bishop Simama

He is the senior pastor for the glorious light international church. Glorious Light International Church stands on spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the whole World.

Prophet Shepherd Bushiri

He is the founder and General Overseer Prophet for the Enlightened Christian Gathering Church and also the Shepherd Bushiri Ministries International.
The church has its headquarters in Pretoria, South Africa, with branches in other African countries and around the world.
Bushiri also runs a global investment company, Shepherd Bushiri Investments, based in Sandton, with interests in mining, real estate, an airline and other entrepreneurial enterprises.

Pastor Aubrey

He is from the Raised for a Purpose (RFP) Ministry which is an Inter-denominational Ministry that was established in 2007.
He launched his ministry in March 2007 as a campus ministry at the Polytechnic, University of Malawi in Blantyre Since he was still a college student at this time. The Ministry has since grown from a campus ministry to impact many lives across the nation of Malawi and beyond, through mass crusades and the planting of branches.
With an increasingly growing membership, Pastor Aubrey oversees 6 branches within the country and one international branch with members from different countries around the globe.

Apostle Joseph Ziba

He is the president and founder of Fountain of Victory Church International (FOVCI).
Pastor Joseph Ziba is the president and founder of the Fountain of Victory Outreach Ministry. God called him into the ministry in 1996 when he was just a young man. He is one of the rare ministers whom God has trusted with deep revelation of the word and the manifestations of the power of God.

Apostle Dr Stanley Ndovie

He is the founder & President of Living Waters Church International. Apostle Dr. Stanley Ndovie started the church in 1985 in Blantyre, Malawi with a mandate to ‘spearhead revival in Malawi and beyond’. The Church has since grown into one of the biggest Charismatic churches in Malawi with churches all over the country. The Church also has branches in other African countries, Europe and USA.

Apostle Dr Madalitso Mbewe

The vision for Calvary Family Church was planted in the heart of the father and founder, Apostle Dr Madalitso P. Mbewe in 1992.
He started the ministry in Malawi with its headquarters in Blantyre. The ministry is one of the fastest growing church in Malawi with branches all over the country.
